At last.... I have decided to start writing.
After gaining a fair bit of experience writing copy for my numerous hardback books and co-writing Devon Food Heroes with Peter Gorton I am now planning a host of articles...

The first ones will include;

SHOOTING AND POST PROCESSING PANORAMICS. This is a technique I am well known for culminating in 'Panoramic Dartmoor' published in 2010 by Halsgrove.

FULL USE OF THE CIRCULAR POLARISER. I read an article in a camera mag a few months back on filters and wasn't impressed so thought I would write something on the subject.

SHOOT THE BIG APPLE. I have now visited the city four times and am planning more trips with a small group of photographers. This will be a guide to getting the most from this amazing city.

SHOOTING IN COLOUR AND CONVERTING TO INFRARED IN PHOTOSHOP. Yes, this is possible. Many of us only have one camera and can't afford to render a DSLR useless for all other forms of photography. The answer? Shoot in RAW and convert through ACR for a very realistic result.....

The image to the left is Venford reservoir taken in RAW with a D700 and converted in CS4-ACR.

I have lots of other ideas too so more will arrive in time...
